I'll just come out with it, because there is no use in dragging this out and writing a novel of a blog post... I'm leaving this blog behind. I have been feeling pretty 'I can't be bothered with this' for about a month and a half now. I've not read anything in weeks because I got ahead on reviews and then got lazy. I'm not enjoying blogging anymore and my posts aren't getting as many comments as they used to, so I think I want to stop now.
I might come back one day, maybe in the new year, but for now, I'm leaving. If you think you're going to miss me, I am going to be starting a new collab blog with Anne and Phanee in January, I think. Go check out their book blogs for more details (which haven't been posted yet, but will be in the next month).
To any publishers who have sent me books for review which have not yet been read, I promise to pass the books onto other book bloggers and inform you as to who these people are so you know where your reviews will end up.
I will still be hoping around book blogs, though maybe not as often and I still want to keep in touch with all my book bloggy friends, but I need the break. As I said earlier, I might come back at some time in the new year, but for now, I'm going.

I've only just seen this post as I'm having so much trouble keeping up with everything ... Anyway, I will miss you, but I totally understand as I'm feeling kind of that way myself and am possibly going down the same road after a few reviews I really have to get up. I'm thinking Christmas will be the end for me :( I will still be reading my favourite blogs though so if you do come back, I'll be here reading :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, no! I'll miss you, of course. But I know how you feel. I thinking web surfing and blog reading is down this time of year because of the holidays. I know I've been so busy with projects for Christmas that I haven't had as much time to read or blog. I did decide last month, though, that if I didn't feel like it, I wasn't going to post.
